Take a desert safari in Dubai, visit the capital city of Abu Dhabi, before visiting the Acropolis in Athens, the Sanctuary of Apollo and the Promontory on top Mount Lycabettus, all in one trip. Combined package tours allow you to visit more than one country on the same vacation.
Day 1 (Thursday) Dubai
Arrival, Meet and assist from Dubai International Airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 (Friday) Desert Safari
Breakfast at the hotel, Morning is free. Afternoon Desert Safari. This tour departs in the afternoon across the desert with photo-stops during a dune drive and visit the camel farm. The drive continues across the desert. Reach our campsite, where you have the opportunity to do camel riding, sand boarding. Enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and a shisha. Before returning, watch our belly dancer performing her show, back to the hotel, overnight.
Day 3 (Saturday) Dubai
Breakfast. City tour starts with a photo-stop at the Burj Al Arab. Proceed to Jumeirah, the picturesque palace and residential area of Dubai, home to the famous Jumeirah Mosque. The tour continues to Al Bastakiya, the old part of Dubai, to reach the museum located in Al Fahidi Fort. All aboard the Abra (water taxi) to cross the Creek to the spice souk. On your return, there is time to shop in the gold souk. Back to the hotel, overnight.
Day 4 (Sunday) Abu Dhabi
Breakfast and tour to discover the highlights of Abu Dhabi, capital of the Emirates. Jebel Ali Port, we pass on the way to Abu Dhabi. The first destination is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. We then continue to visit the Sheikh Zayed Centre to get a glimpse into the private life of H.H. Sheikh Zayed. Our final stop is the Heritage Village. On our return, we drive along the beautiful Corniche. Back to the hotel, overnight.
Day 5 (Monday) Dubai
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for flight to Athens International Airport, assistance and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 6 (Tuesday) Athens
Departure from the Hotel in the morning for the tour giving you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material a the Parthenon. Continue and visit the New acropolis Museum and admire the wonders of the Classical Era. Afternoon free and overnight stay in Athens.
Day 7 (Wednesday) Delphi
Drive through the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus — Levadia and Arachova (short stop on the way back). Arrive at Delphi, the center of Ancient World – the “Omphalos” (Navel of Earth) – whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias. Lunch in the modern village of Delphi, return to Athens by the same route at about 19.00 and drop off at your Hotel.
Day 8 (Thursday) Athens
Discover this magical city and all it has to offer by walking along the narrow streets of Plaka or visiting the Promontory on top Mount Lycabettus for spectacular views on Athen’s highest hill; or if the weather is good why not take a 1 day cruise?
Day 9 (Friday) Athens
Breakfast and transfer to Athens International Airport at arranged time.
