Expect to have a very warm welcome to Switzerland right from the airport. Your local driver will greet you at the arrival hall of Zurich Airport, lead you to your comfortable seat in a business-type car or a minivan, and enjoy a smooth ride to the hotel. Boost your day with a tasty breakfast at the Zurich hotel, and get ready for check-out at 09:00. After being greeted by your driver at the lobby, we will head to explore Zurich city during a 2-hour walking tour while listening to historical facts and admiring the main sights of the Old Town, Grossmunster church, Bahnhofstrasse, Paradeplatz, Fraumuenster church, and the Limmatquai.

We will farewell the guide in Zurich to continue our discovery day, this time in Lucerne city. In around 1 hour, we will reach our new destination and have a lunch break upon arrival before meeting our following professional guide to explore the beauty of Lucerne reflected through the Chapel Bridge, the Old Town, Lion Monument, Jesuit Church, among other beautiful jewels like the Fresco-painted buildings and so on. After exploring the two great Swiss cities, we will drive to our final point of this day – the hotel in Interlaken, where you will rest for the next exciting day.

Another Swiss discovery day full of adventures is prepared for you. Starting at 09:00, after breakfast at the hotel, meet your friendly driver to begin your exploration from Grindelwald.

It is among the famous Swiss ski destinations, a charming town at the foot of the Eiger and Wetterhorn mountains. Stroll in this beautiful village while inhaling its fresh air in a very relaxing atmosphere.

Optional Excursion

Get in the Eiger Express tricable gondola that will take you from Grindelwald to the Eiger Glacier station in just 15 minutes. You will be on the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe and the slopes 47 minutes faster than the regular train journey. It is a panoramic cable car ride for 15 minutes, plus a train ride for 18 minutes so that you will enjoy more time on the top. Jungfraujoch is the highest railway station in Europe, and UNESCO lists it as a “World Heritage Site.”

Upon arrival at the top, numerous activities will await you, such as the Alpine sensation Ice Place, which includes several sculptures. The Sphinx Observation Deck with spectacular mountain views, a Lindt shop, and restaurants, among other entertainment opportunities.

After spending some leisure time between 3-4 hours, you will descend back from Jungfraujoch by train for around 1.20 hours. It will take you to Wengen – the car-free resort in the heart of Bernese Oberland. It lies at the foot of Jungfrau at an altitude of 1274 meters. You may get off the train to explore Wengen for a while or to choose the staying option and continue your way to Lauterbrunnen.

If you decide not to take the optional excursion, we will drive to Lauterbrunnen. It is a small Swiss village with the finest scenery one can expect to see. The town offers mountain peaks with 72 breathtaking waterfalls and fresh Alpine meadows. After Lauterbrunnen’s discovery, you will take your comfortable seat to have a smooth ride back to your hotel in Interlaken and rest for the next adventurous day.

This day of our Swiss tour is dedicated to uncovering important and well-preserved parts of Switzerland. Starting from the Swiss Capital of Bern, then a visit to the historic town of Gruyères.

Leaving Interlaken’s hotel at 09:00, you will enjoy a straight ride to Bern city, where the guide will be waiting for you. Get immersed in Bern’s tourist attractions and impressed by the city’s landmarks and hidden treasures during a 2-hour walking tour with a local guide. We will cover the main sights such as Holy Ghost Church, a stroll through Spitalgasse street and Barenplatz, and witness the Government Palace and the central masterpiece of Bern – the Clock Tower.

Continuing our daily tour, we will head to Gruyeres – a medieval and picturesque town. The real homeland for Swiss cheese and chocolate welcomes you during visits to La Maison du Gruyère & Maison Cailler. Admire the charming town of Gruyères while strolling and visiting its castle, dating back to the 13th century. We do not forget to mention a lunch break can be in one of Gruyeres’ rustic chalet-style restaurants for a tasty Swiss Fondue. After relishing our trip, we will return to the hotel in Interlaken.

Interlaken has a dizzying number of things to do besides the splendid natural beauty. Therefore, enjoy the yummy breakfast at the hotel and head to explore the beautiful outdoor activities of Interlaken, especially during the summer. Topping the list is the funicular to the top of Interlaken – Harder Kulm which transfers you in 8-10 minutes to a quiet Alpine landscape *. It is a perspective at 1,321 meters in the Berner Oberland region of Switzerland. Also, you may consider taking a paddleboat on lake Thun or Brienz *.

Another nostalgic funicular experience available in the spring and summer seasons is the Heimwehfluh Interlaken which transfers you to the romantic lookout tower while enjoying the exclusive views of Interlaken, Thun, and Brienz lakes as well as the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks *.

Eventually, you will wrap up the journey in Interlaken at 15:00 by meeting your driver, who will transfer you to the hotel in Zurich. Have a nice and calm evening to get ready for your departure flight.
