My Scenic Switzerland

Welcome to Switzerland! After taking in the sights from the airplane windows, get ready to experience a wonderful. From the moment you step off the plane, your experience begins, and you will be greeted by your local driver at the arrival hall of the Zurich airport. You will then ride in comfort and style in a business-type car or a minivan, all the way to your Zurich hotel. After a rest and some free time, you might like to take the opportunity to explore a bit – consider enjoying one of the many activities in our guide brochure and see what Zurich has to offer.

Overnight stay in Zurich.

Begin your day with a tasty breakfast at your Zurich hotel and prepare for check-out at 9:00 AM. Your driver will greet you in the lobby and collect your bags, then you head out to explore Zurich City on a 2-hour guided walking tour. Discover the history of Switzerland’s largest city and admire the must-see landmarks such as the Old Town, Grossmunster church, Bahnhofstrasse, Paradeplatz, Fraumuenster church, and the Limmatquai.

After saying goodbye to your guide, your day will continue to the lovely city of Lucerne, located around 1 hour from Zurich. You will reach your new stop and have a lunch break upon arrival before meeting your second professional guide who will lead you on an exploration of the beauty of Lucerne. Have your camera ready for the most photographed bridge in Switzerland, the Chapel Bridge, and discover the Old Town, the Lion Monument, and the Jesuit Church, among other beautiful jewels like the Fresco-painted buildings. After exploring these two great Swiss cities, you will meet your driver once more and embark on the final transfer of the day to your hotel in Interlaken, where you will rest and reflect on a wonderful day.

Starting at 9:00 AM, after breakfast at the hotel, you will meet up with your friendly driver and venture into the Alps to your first destination: Grindelwald.

A famous Swiss ski destination, this charming alpine town sits at the foot of Mount Eiger and Wetterhorn. Once you arrive, you will have time to stroll through the beautiful town and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

Optional Excursion
Take a 15-minute ride on the Eiger Express Tri-Cable gondola up to the Eiger Glacier station. From here, you can take a train up to Jungfraujoch – the Top of Europe. This route is 47 minutes faster than the regular train journey. By taking the panoramic cable car ride and train from Grindelwald, you will arrive at the highest railway station in Europe in as little as 33 minutes and have more time to explore the UNESCO “World Heritage Site.”

Once at the top, several activities await you, including the Alpine sensation Ice Palace, the Sphinx Observation Deck, the Lindt shop, as well as many restaurants and other entertaining features.

After exploring for around 3-4 hours, you will descend from Jungfraujoch by train (around an hour and twenty-minute trip) to Wengen, the car-free resort in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. Wengen rests at the foot of Mount Jungfrau at an altitude of 1,274 meters. Once in this town, you will have the option to explore for a while, or you can continue on your adventure to Lauterbrunnen.

If you decide to opt out of the optional excursion, you will drive from Grindelwald directly to Lauterbrunnen. Known for its breathtaking 72 waterfalls and serene alpine meadows, this town allows you to experience Swiss nature at its finest. After a day full of beautiful sights, your driver guide will transport you back to your hotel in Interlaken.

Another great day of Swiss culture begins at 9:00 AM, where you will meet your driver and start your day with a visit to the Capital of Switzerland, Bern. Once you arrive, you will meet with your local guide and explore the landmarks and hidden treasures of the Capital on a 2-hour guided walking tour. Learn the story of Bern through sights such as the Bern Münster Cathedral, the Government Palace, Einstein’s House, the famous streets of Old Town, the Barenplatz and the iconic timepiece of Bern – the Zytglogge Clock Tower.

After saying farewell to Bern, your experience continues as you head to Gruyères – a medieval town known for Swiss cheese and chocolate. Experience both through visits to La Maison du Gruyère and Maison Cailler. This town has the most charming streets and is home to a medieval-style castle, dating back to the 13th century. While exploring, be sure to stop for lunch at one of the town’s rustic chalet-style restaurants for an authentic Swiss Fondue. Once you’ve had your fill of cheese and chocolate, you will settle into your comfortable ride and return to your hotel in Interlaken.

On your fifth day, you will have the opportunity to experience all the things that Interlaken has to offer. After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you can head out to explore the outdoor activities that the town has to offer, especially during the summer. Some highlights include a trip up the funicular to the top of Interlaken, to Harder Kulm, 1,321 meters above the Berner Oberland region of Switzerland, where you can see some beautiful panoramic views* or a paddleboat trip on Lake Thun or Brienz*.

The Heimwehfluh Interlaken is another nostalgic funicular experience available during the spring and summer seasons. This trip will take you to a romantic lookout tower where you can enjoy exclusive views of Interlaken, the lakes and the peaks of Mount Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau*.

As 3:00 PM rolls around, you will meet your driver and you will be transferred from Interlaken to your hotel in Zurich. While you reminisce the past few days, enjoy a nice, relaxing evening and prepare for your departure flight.

After one final breakfast at your hotel, it will be time to say “Tschüss”, or goodbye, to Switzerland’s enchanting culture and stunning landscapes. At the specified time, your driver will escort you one last time to the airport to catch your return flight home.
